On a lighter note: Were Dream Chaser furry dice duff landing charm?

As already mentioned, the Dream Chaser aerodynamic prototype with which NASA hopes to hire to fly its astronauts to orbit, worked very well (see above) during its October test glide and approach phases.  Nevertheless, its final landing went awry after its port undercarraige failed to deploy and the craft skided off the runway.   So what could have been the cause of this anomaly?  Well, it may just be a coincidence, but some furry dice were carried aboard as a jestful homage to those carried by many road vehicles in the world.  The furry can be seen on the left side of the interior of Dream Chaser’s cockpit (below) showing a “lucky seven” as it approaches landing.  They worked like a charm – a bad luck one.
